Caitha Barr, OTR/L, CLT

Caitha Barr, OTR/L, CLT, is an occupational therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist who specializes in breast cancer rehabilitation, lymphedema therapy, and post-surgical recovery.

She received her Bachelor's degree in Human Development from the University of Georgia, and went on to earn her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Georgia State University.

Caitha has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including pediatrics, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and outpatient care at a cancer hospital. 

As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Caitha takes a holistic and personalized approach to treating patients with arm lymphedema, leg lymphedema, lipedema, and chronic swelling due to pregnancy, venous conditions, and cosmetic surgery. She also uses her expertise in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and breast health to help new moms prevent and treat mastitis and clogged milk ducts.

Caitha believes that by treating the whole person, and not just their diagnosis, patients can achieve their optimal level of function and quality of life. She is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in her field, and regularly attends continuing education courses.

In her free time, Caitha enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and staying active at the gym. She is dedicated to promoting health and wellness in all aspects of life, and brings this same passion and energy to her work as an occupational therapist.
